With less than two weeks remaining before Winter Break, students/parents/guardians are reminded that December 22, 2023 will be the last day of classes before the two week break.

CHHS Dinner & Silent Auction - Re-Scheduled
The CHHS Dinner & Silent Auction for the Chestermere Women’s Crisis Society has been rescheduled to the second semester. More details will be sent out in the new year.

Athletics
Congratulations to the following CHHS Football Players for earning RVS League Awards. The following Lakers earned All-Star Awards: #12 Lincoln Seely, #55 Tej Madan, #31 Adam Eam, #3 Noah Saraceni, and #21 Ryan Holladay. Joshua Willis earned the Coaches Hustle Award. #60 Ali Al-Ashaki was honoured for RVS Outstanding Defensive Lineman and #15 Gage Nagassar received the RVS Outstanding Receiver Award. Congratulations to all our players and coaches on a great football season.

On Tuesday our JV Boys and Varsity Boys Basketball Teams will compete at home against the W.H. Croxford Cavaliers at 6:00 P.M. and  7:45 P.M. respectively. The Varsity Girls' Basketball Team will compete in Airdrie against the W.H. Croxford Cavaliers on Wednesday at 6:00 P.M.

Fine Arts
All CHHS students and parents/guardians are invited to our Winter Band Concert at 6:30 P.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2023. It will be an amazing night of musical performances.

Girl's Hockey/Ringette Class Next Year
With the success of the hockey program this year, Mr. Elenko is gauging parent/student interest in a Girl's Hockey/Ringette class next year. If any girls are interested please talk to your parents/guardians and complete the linked surveyhttps://forms.gle/6EtG2bTZXJmXRxFs5

The program will have a school fee of approximately $300-$325 after approval from the RVS Board of Trustees. If any parents or students have any questions please contact Mr. Elenko at jelenko@rockyview.ab.ca with any questions.
